As we get older, adulthood can become a time of stagnation and despair. We want it to be a time of creative growth and development for all in our community!
We have many opportunities in which mature adults can participate. We offer a wide variety of activities including studies, trips, missions, leisure activities and more.
Please let us know if you would like to join us or would like information on upcoming events. We are here to make life better!
BOOTH MUSEUM TRIP
Wednesday, January 26
Open since 2003, the Booth Museum is an Affiliate to the Smithsonian Institution. At 120,000 square feet, the Booth is an architectural wonder – designed to resemble a modern pueblo. Come “See America’s Story” – the land, people, struggles, dreams, and legends.
We will eat at Appalachian Grill for lunch and then head back to Douglasville around 3:30. Admission is $12 and lunch will cost each person between $20-30. We will leave Douglasville FUMC promptly at 9:00am and caravan to the museum. If you are willing to drive, your admission will be covered. Bring $3-5 to pitch in on the gas.
