Wednesday Nights @DFUMC

All the programming available for children, youth and adults on Wednesdays

We believe that we are teaching eternal things that are vital to life in a practical and useful way. Our goal is to help each person to find their best life in Jesus Christ. When we do this well, it affects us as a church and leads to community transformation. For all of this to happen, we need each person to show up and find their place in this great ministry.

Wednesday night programming begins August 25th and goes from 6:30-8 pm. Reservations are not required at this point and masks are optional for those for are not vaccinated.

Adult Studies & Prayer

  • Pastor Scott Brown will be taking you on a Walk through Scripture to see how God has loved us and called us in every part of the Bible. This study is great for those who have never studied Scripture, but will also have plenty for those who are seasoned veterans of Bible Study. This study will meet in Huffine Hall.

  • Robin Payne will be leading a study called Spiritual Simplicity. This is a look into the Bible to find peace and calm in a season where those have often been rare. This study will meet in room 220 (Library).

  • There will also be a prayer room for those who simply wish to pray and spend time with God. Rev. Bec Cranford will facilitate this from 6:30-7:30 and all are welcome. This will meet in the Prayer Room across from the Journey Hall.
