The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to extend concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. United Methodist Women of Douglasville First United Methodist Church consists of three circles. Each of the three circles meets on the third Monday of each month September through June. Twice annually all three circles meet together for General Meeting. The General Meetings are in September and March.
